Common questions
What's the difference between Handiwork and handyman services?
Handiwork is larger, design-driven projects: built-ins, decks, mudroom lockers, and concrete restoration, each quoted after a visit. Handyman services are the repairs and replacements every house needs, priced by the hour or by the job.
How do I get a price?
Text a photo to (309) 279-5568 with your town and what you need. Small jobs can be priced from photos. Handiwork projects start with a visit to measure and talk through the design.
Do you do plumbing and electrical work?
We replace and repair fixtures on existing lines and wiring: faucets, toilets, disposals, outlets, switches, lights, and fans. New lines, new circuits, and panel work go to a licensed plumber or electrician, and we'll tell you when a job needs one.
Do you haul away old materials?
Yes. Old fixtures, doors, trim, and decking leave with us when the job is done.
Send a photo of the job. You'll get a clear price back.
